This is the only lighted sighting compass on the market! The pushbutton green LED provides light anytime you need it. Each unit is manufactured in the USA from CNC machined aluminum with a shockproof silicone cover. You will find threaded tripod adapter holes (1/4in-20) in the both the bottom and sides of the aluminum body. And this sighting compass is outfitted with all the scales you could need in one unit:
- 0-360 Azimuth Scale (1 degree resolution, 0.5 degree accuracy)
- Reciprical Scale (reverse from the Azimuth scale)
- Quadrants Scale (0-90, 1 degree resolution)
- MILS scale (0-6400, 20mil resolution)
In addition to the 4 sighting scales listed above, the OmniSight LED Sighting Compass features a top facing scale on top of the compass card. This convenient reference scale is a 0-360 degree azimuth scale with 5 degree graduations. Each unit comes complete with a custom leather carrying case. This version is balanced for the Northern Hemisphere.
